International Day of Happiness is celebrated on the 20th of March every year in 2023 world happiness day is celebrated on Monday. The General Assembly of united state in 12July 2012 declared 20th March as an International Day of Happiness all word happiness day.

Definition of happiness According to dictionary the definition of  happiness is  “The feeling of pleasure a state of well-being and contentment                                        Definition of happiness in psychology    “Happiness is a state of emotional well-being that a person experiences either in a narrow sense, when good things happen in a particular moment, or more broadly, as a positive evaluation of his or her life and accomplishments on a whole, that is, subjective well-being.”

Definition of happiness according to the positive psychology:

 There is nothing more important than the sense of joy, contentment, or happiness that an individual can experience, together with a sense that his or her life is meaningful, worthwhile, and good.

 Scientific definition of happiness According to scientific literature the proper definition of happiness is referred as hedonic means characteristics of pleasure in other words the presence of positive emotions and absence of negative emotions.

Serotonin Hormone is a Chemical Some scientists even refer to serotonin as the “happiness chemical,” because higher serotonin levels increase feelings of well-being, confidence and belonging. so that we can say that serotonin is a hormone which cause happiness or make our mood happy.
